There are plenty on EBay. There are plenty of strong 3 woods around, but they are fairway woods. The old 2 woods were definitely closer to a driver in size and shape than a 3 wood. The face on my Callaway Deuce was actually deeper than the Snake Eyes driver than I carried at the time. That low hitter driver and the high hitting 2 wood made a good combination for headwind and tailwind tee shots.

Callaway used to make one (The Deuce). I had one for a while and it was a useful club for long low fairway shots and downwind drives. As another poster has mentioned, you can get high loft ( >13 degree) drivers now that would be equivalent to a 2 wood. The large heads and deep faces of these clubs makes them impossible to hit off the fairway, so it depends on what you want the club for.

The only 2 woods being produced that I know of are Louisville Golf persimmon Niblicks. Niblicks are great clubs btw, but I don't know if you want persimmon.

Why must the club have a number '2' on it? Go into any golf shop and look at the racks of drivers. They will have lofts anywhere between 8 and 13 degrees, yet they are all 'one woods'. What loft and head size was the 2 wood you learnt with? Can you not match it with either a lofted driver or a strong 3 wood? If it's shaft length that is causing the control problem then consider one of the so-called 'Women's drivers' which have a shorter shaft, or go to a club-maker who will build exactly what you want.
