I have now managed to put some pictures and a couple of videos together
to demonstrate this fantastic drill. Go to...

http://www.online-golf-lesson-and-more.com/beginner-golf-lesson.html

Don't just try the drill, let me know how you got on with it.

Vague? I asked you if you were a PGA teaching pro,
and if you had passed the PAT and you said yes, so I asked
for some verification. What is vague about that?

It appears to me now that you either didn't understand my question,
or else lied.

Hi Bill,

If you read a page on my site and come back with a question about its
topic, I will be glad to answer all of your
questions about my competence.

Your, "I've visited your site and I want to know if your qualified",
attitude is a little too vague for me to answer.

If you feel that my material is so ground breaking that you want to
know my entire resume then put out a
question with some substance and I may even start to like you.

You never know who you are talking to and in any case...

IT'S NICE TO BE NICE!

I ventured over to your Private Members page and noted how you listed
several authorized instructors of The Golfing Machine and Homer Kelley
himself as professionals you had personal encounters with. When did
you meet with Homer?

Congratulations on jumping on TGM bandwagon and trying to make a few
bucks off it which seems to be a growing trend on the web these days.

You claim to be a teaching pro. It is possible that you

I asked him if he was a PGA pro, and if he had passed the PAT, he
said yes to both questions. I'm just looking for some verification.

If he lives in Germany, I think there is an equivalent professional
organization there. Would just like to know if he has any
credentials at all other than having an athletic daughter.

I take it by your response that you are not actually a PGA
teaching pro, even though you said you were before.

Or, which is it? Yes or no?

If yes, you are a PGA teaching pro, then what city do you
teach in, so I can try to look you up on pga.com.

I'm not a net cop, I'm just looking for straight answers.

Hello again head shot,

Send a short three second clip of your swing to me (a face-on shot).

Save it using windows movie maker if you can.

P.S. My daughter, who has just turned 12, had 45 handicap at the start
of 2005 and now plays off 12 and she only works on the things I mention
on the site. You can read her story there.

Of course it will have to be when the weather gets better. I think my
camera does 1 minute videos so I can do a few shots at the range.

But, you have no credentials nor certifications that would allow people
to objectively judge your abilities and capabilities.

I hold an A license, C license and D license and I also was an S/L-I and
an AFF-I. These licenses and certifications were awarded and earned from
a naitonal organization and were recognized by an international
organization. I made money while holding the certifications. People knew
that when they were paying me that I actually knew the subject area and
that I was qualified to be teaching.

As others have noted this is a non-commercial USENET newsgroup. The
charter specifically prohibits advertising or soliciting by commercial
interests. If you are selling something I would suggest that you place
your advertisements in rec.sport.golf.forsale.

I have no interest in viewing your website I receive golf instruction
from a PGA accredited teaching pro.

Is that what I should do - just get PGA instruction now and then and let
them help me fix the things that are keeping me from being consistant?

If this is true, you have had all the instruction you will ever need; unless you
get to the PGA Tour level maybe. Go out and enjoy your game for what it is.
Leave the snake oil to the rubes.

Dear Bert,

you are definately a traffic warden.

I have posted a few articles here and have spent quite a bit of time
doing so. I earn quite a lot from my full time job as coach and pro
shop owner and since I have loads of free time in the winter months, I
have recently put a free teaching website together.
If someday I manage to get a little extra income from it in the future
I will be delighted. Put it this way if I earn $10,000 from it by
September, I would have averaged about 50c earnings per hours work.

Your comments have not earned the right to be answered by me but I have
done so in this case. Only because its still off season for me.

If you earn $1 from your website it's spam to advertise it here. Go
away.

You come across as a pompous ass.

If you are interested in teaching then you would take a more informative
tone and answer questions about your abilities to teach and you
motivation for your web site.

When I sell something I am a wealth of information and I have a smile on
my face.

I can tell you what I need to learn. When I go to play golf, I first go to
the range. At the beginning of the range time; I am all over the place.
Then I settle in and about 75% of my iron shots go where I pretty much want
them to go; give or take Then I head off to play and my shots go where I
want about 50% of the time. I want to learn how to shoot the shots the
same consistantly. I was at the range a few weeks ago and this guy walks up
to the range line and just starts hitting the ball exactly the same over and
over again. I was shocked, because he was obese and had a really hard
time even walking. That blew my theory that you need to be in great shape
to play the game with any consistancy. If he can be consistant; why
can't I? I do tial arts, swim, and hit the gym - why can't I get
consistant like that out of shape guy did?
.

Dear Bill,

At present I am offering over 60 pages of free stuff and soon will be
setting up ONE page, 'a private member page', for anyone who would like
more personal instruction. As this takes time and time is money, I feel
justified, when the time comes to charge a small fee for this time. If
you don't like or agree with the content, I do enjoy some constructive
criticism.

So in answer to your question, at present, I am not charging anyone
anything. This page is entirely voluntary and I would hate to be
compared to the, 'hit the ball 40yds further in just five minutes',
club. Did you happen to see any hard sell on my site?

As for the video, I'll look into how to make it easier to view. Maybe
if you were a little fiendlier to me it would automatically open for
you.

Has anyone else experienced trouble opening it?

Does anyone know how to accept the video senders friend request?

P.S. Bill, you're not a traffic warden or a law enforcer of some sort,
are you?

It would explain it for me.

In any event, I forgive you.

Another clue: When I try to open the video by clicking on
the youtube logo, a window opens up and says:

This is a private video. If you have been sent this video, please make
sure you accept the sender's friend request.

Gosh Bill. You don't think that this is all a spamming post from the

Nosey? You think it is nosey to want to know the credentials
of someone trying to sell his services as a teacher
via a webpage? You ARE charging people to become
"private members" aren't you?

Most PGA teaching pros are up front about mentioning that
fact on their web pages. Can I find you if I search on pga.com?
What city do you teach out of?

I couldn't get your video to play, either with IE or Firefox.

YES, YES, and YES, a swing drill somewhere on the section:
