or owning a riding golf cart, either gas or battery powered. =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D I can't see the logic in owning either, but if push come to shove, I think I would opt for the gas powered one. Owning one appears to be something most golfers - don't need. Just where, and there is bound to be a reason for owning one, but where? Maybe in the case of where a guy plays several times a week in remote areas, owning one would be justified, and /or had a shop to wheel in to after play. >m h o >=A0v =83 e >d r i v i n g =A0l e s s =A0l o w e r s =A0g a s =A0p r i c e s =A0

Looked at several houses on the golf course, and every one of them had garages with a small extra space for a golf cart, and a thingee to plug the cart into for recharging. I think you'll find most people who own golf carts are folks who live on golf courses and can ride the cart from their garage to the clubhouse. Randy

I live on a golf course and play at least three times weekly (often more). I like the fact that I can keep all my golfing "stuff" on my own cart. I have a golf cart garage adjacent to the garage for the cars so storage isn't an issue. I can go out on the course after hours in the summer as I please. I do have to pay a "trail" fee to register my cart for use on the course. Cart ownership is most convienient in my situation. In fact, my wife, who also plays frequently wants to buy a second cart for her use. For the individual that plays once weekly or less, ownership becomes less cost effective. Also, if you had to leave your cart at the club and thus unable to leave your equipment on the cart, the convienience factor isn't there. In cases like this I would think that renting a cart as need from the club would be the best approach.

10-4, for the reasons mentioned in favor of carts, they seem to be justified, there are always exceptions. And too, it is a personal matter - peculiar to those that have them. >m h o >=A0v =83 e >d r i v i n g =A0l e s s =A0l o w e r s =A0g a s =A0p r i c e s =A0

Owning your own golf cart is a life style decision not a financial one. If all you are going to so is play golf, electric is more golfer friendly. <fiveiron@webtv.net > wrote in message news:5881-44F0E4C9-40@storefull-3312.bay.webtv.net... or owning a riding golf cart, either gas or battery powered. ================================= I can't see the logic in owning either, but if push come to shove, I think I would opt for the gas powered one.
