forget pull carts completely. I don't have wide experience with the verious
models of push carts, so I can't give you any advice there. But, the major
breakdown in handcarts is push vs. pull, and there's no comparision. I've
had cheap versions of both, and I can say that push carts are really the
only way to go. I'd buy a pull cart only if I didn't have enough $$$ for a
push cart and the alternative was carrying, but at $150 you definitely do
have enough for at least a bottom-line push cart.

I would look at some of the second tier manufacturers, since you don't have
enough for the best that money can buy. Like any other consumer product,
you pay a premium for name brand. Sometimes that name brand is tightly
bundled with high quality, and sometimes that name brand is only tightly
bundled with a logo. Of course, some people like the logo, so it depends on
your target audience.

The Sun Mountain Speed Cart is considered to be the best, but it retails
for about $190 or so. You can sometimes find it for less.

I bought the Bag Boy Express GT from rockbottomgolf.com a couple of years
ago through an Ebay auction for about $75. Retail was about $120. It's a
push cart like the Sun Mountain and is much easier to get around the
course than a traditional pull cart. I believe that model has been
replaced by the Express LS, which has an umbrella holder and possibly
other minor changes. Rockbottomgolf.com is selling it for about $100. They
also sell a model called the Avenger, which has a folding front wheel and
costs about $20 more.

The Sun Mountain has handbrakes like a bicycle, which is better than the
foot brakes on the Bag Boy. But in the end the Express was half the price
and nearly as good.

Should be a three wheel push cart as it puts the least strain on the body.
