or instructions, anything to keep from sending my great persimmons in
for refinish.

I looked around the web and the cost for refinishing the clubs is far
more than any of them are worth.

You're welcome.

I'm playing mine every day. While the driver gives me slightly less
distance, I hit it straight nearly every time. That was never the case
with any metal driver. And of course, the sound that a good wood driver
makes on contact is pretty damn nice too!

Lloyd:

Do you need any sanding or grinding to the wood itself, or, just have
the clear coat put on it? If it's the latter, you might consider
having a Luithier look at it (Guitar Maker). They spend considerable
time finishing guitars and this would be a natural for them to perform.

I've only used them for fret jobs (get your collecive minds out of the
gutter, boys), so, I don't have experience in refinishing costs. Best
of luck.

Mostly just refinish, but it will require restaining on the driver.

Locally I found a fishing pole builder that said he would do the
whipping that my 4 & 5 wood need.

I'll see if there is a local guitar maker around here...

Thanks for the suggestion.
