I had a lesson several days ago. The instructor really liked my stance, grip, and setup but found a major flaw in my takeaway. She said I had little forearm rotation on the takeaway whicn caused me to come in to steep on the downswing, causing occasional erratic shots, especially with my driver. She got me to turn my forearms slightly counterclockwise starting about hip high on the backswing(I am lefty), and this really provided a great lane to come from the inside on the downswing, Was the first one out this am and Shot an 82, which included 2 birdies. This would have easily been a whole lot less, if I had not lost a ball in the rough and been in the sand twice. With this slightly modified takeaway, i felt a whole lot more confidence and the club seemed to release a lot easier. Weather beautiful, think I am going to play early every morning through the weekend. just can't help but feel a few sub 80 rounds in the making! the Hammer

I shot 84 last Sunday. This would have easily been a whole lot more if a skulled approach didn't stop 15 feet from the pin and two of my tee shots didn't hit trees and stay in bounds. >With this slightly modified > takeaway, i felt a whole lot more confidence and the club seemed to > release a lot easier. > > Weather beautiful, think I am going to play early every morning through > the weekend. just can't help but feel a few sub 80 rounds in the > making! > > the Hammer

Do I sound like Michelle Wie? ;P [snip] Jack Nicklaus had a lot of trouble remembering bad shots, it was commented on by one interviewer who seemed to not be able to get Jack to talk about one of his shots.

Now why don't you just fess up that you have the problem too, and get a few cloves and get to work. The Hammer Certified Expert in Hemmorrhoids

My wife had one in the oven but I don't think I want one there.
