This ain't the 2004 Tiger. Started off 3 behind Vijay. After five
holes, he's one up. And Vijay hasn't made a bogey.

... and then VJay sinks it to gain a stroke on Tiger!

I can't watch the match so I'm following the stats of pgatour.com. I
can only assume that Tiger has put away his driver since VJay is
constantly outdriving him. However, while Tiger is giving up 20 yards
on the first shot, his approach is invariably inside of VJay's. For
example on the Par 4 12th:

Tiger:
Shot 1 268 yds to right fairway, 193 yds to hole
Shot 2 187 yds to green, 19 ft to hole

VJay:
Shot 1 292 yds to left fairway, 159 yds to hole
Shot 2 166 yds to green, 12 yds to hole

Tiger it seems has his irons dialed in.

Two up now, through 7; Woods is -6 for the first 7 holes. Singh is -1!
