Subject: Trying to remember what this was called

I remember seeing a product in a golf store that had two or three slots for
clubs and a small stand. It was designed to clip to your bag and be easily
removed. The idea was you could keep your favorite wedges and/or your
putter in it, take it off when you were around the green. I have a very
small stand bag and thought this might be useful for when I ride to add a
little space for extra clubs. Anyone remember this product? What it was
called?

Thanks,

Chris

Chris,

See

www.golfdlite.com

these sites might that golf thingy you are interested in. I use the Speed
Bag, and it could well be one of the first BAGS that claims that it can save
you strokes!

Haven't seen that, but there are "putter" clips that snap onto the top of a
bag and you place the putter right side up into its slot, and its diameter
is just right for holding it securely at the end of the grip because of the
taper.

I've seen a cart bag that I plan on looking for whenever I'm forced to
give up walking - it is in two parts. The cart straps in behind a
removable part that holds just the clubs you are taking to green side.

I have one of those things. I works well now that I bolted it to the bag. It
was made to clip to the top of the bag but when I'd pull the putter out it
would slide off and fall in the bag. Had to wait till I got home and empty
the bag to get it out. After doing that twice, I drilled a hole in it and
the bag and put in a bolt and nut to secure it. It has worked for a few
years that way and the putter has never fallen out. Good product once
modded. Had to cost all of $5 bucks.
