Subject: Tour Par


The December 9-16th Golfweek notes that if a tour player played every
round as par in 2006, he would have earned $2.4 million for 25th
place.

Of course half of that was for winning the U.S. Open.

I assume they also played all 40+ events.

Tiger has been making a joke of par since his PGA winning streak
began. Even though only three of the six events were on par-72
courses, he has averaged better than -18 per week.
