Also, a couple of the Cleveland and Adams composite heads with the graphite lids blown off. Another noted issue was small cracks at the point where the shaft bore exits the sole on Callaway heads. These 460 heads are so thin that stress cracks and failures are far more common. I still have a 975D that I consider bullet-proof. I've never seen one of those heads with a dent or crack, ever. And, I like the way it looks. But the grooves don't work well with modern golf balls and it doesn't fly as far as my Cleveland Launcher 460. -- Ron
