Watched Tiger on the box getting creamed by Shaun at the Wentworth
world Matchplay event today.
He did not play badly but could not read the greens and missed a lot
of putts.
Goosen,Furyk and Els went down as well,Weir played well as did Luke
Donald.
Tiger does not knw whether to go home or just fish in Ireland until
the Ryder cup begins.

The slump begins... maybe he should seek out Leadbetter. And ditch the
inferior Nike equipment. =)

Question: anyone know how he's done with Titleist vs. Nike equipment? I
would think that shafts and grips are his choice. And head wise, they are
also to his specifications. No similarities to what we can buy.

I disagree.

None of it is serious but the long, unedited bottom posting is a hassle.

Yup, looks like he's coming into Ryder Cup form right on time.

As is said in the poker world: Variance.

TV Coverage is piss poor...apparently the TV coverage is being provided
by the BBC with announcer from somewhere else. If I go to the website
and listen to the radio it's nothing but inane chatter and nothing
about the golf...

Yesterday I saw ONE shot of the Weir / Adams match...there are only 8
matches....one would think they could easily show EVERY shot...but then
they wouldn't be able to show Tiger scratch his ass a few times...

Woods played the same golf he has been playing for the last few
months. The difference was that he made none of the putts that he was
making during his winning streak. Had he putted the same way the last
few months, he would not have won any tournaments. It all comes donw
to the flat stick in the end.

He did not actually putt so badly. Many of his putts were very
close to going in. It was not as if he had putts inside of 8 feet all
day. You cannot make the 30 footers forever.

Fishing in Ireland sounds like the perfect vacation.
