Subject: Tiger --- It's ME, ME, ME

Tiger was asked how he felt about tying the immortal Byron Nelson for
fifth on the all-time victories list:
"Well, it's misleading, because Mr. Nelson retired very early. If he
would have continued playing, I think he would have posted a lot more
wins, but he retired at a very early age, and in that short window he
won 52 times, which is an awful lot of tournaments."

Nelson might be the only living person who understands how mentally
exhausted Tiger is after winning four events in a row, the last two in
consecutive weeks --- a major, and a WGC in a playoff. Tiger is also
playing in and hosting this week's Deutsche Bank Championship, with
all the extra time commitments that entails. Yet instead of taking a
day off to relax, he is flying to Ireland tonight, to show the Ryder
Cup rookies how to play the K Club course he knows so well.

What a selfish guy.
