On my home course there are always several deer walking around.
They're very tame, you can walk about 15-20 feet up to them. But this
past Sunday afternoon was wild. It was cool and cloudy. I must have
seen 30 deer during the round, once walking up upon about a dozen of
them. Wish I had my camera.

Have you ever played on a green where deer or elk had fought? I
have. I've played at mountain courses in the Fall where they drag
around those chains used to groom ski slopes - to break up the elk
droppings.

I wish they had guns and knew how to use them.

Debbie and I had to wait to tee off in Utah last weekend because a
moose was on the first fairway.

I thought it was the course marshall.

No, but the bunkers routinely have deep footprint in them.

Don't you hate it when the elk fail to rake the bunkers?
