Subject: The CumWad Known as "Dene"

I just happened to browse through this newsgroup earlier today and was
deeply insulted by your proposing a Booby Knight Memorial Tournament
and your giving my name as someone who might be interested in hosting
such an event.

What a jerkoff. Regardless of what I might feel about Bobby, postive
or negative, this is truly decadent to even think such a thing. Folks,
this is the same loser that has expressed similar wishes of death
toward others, namely some old turkey who resides in the Bay Area. We
can disagree on this forum, but to wish death upon someone, as Dene has
done on more than one occasion, reveals this guy to be nothing short of
a very disturbed indiviudual. Friends like this I do not need. I need
friends like this, like I need a scrotal wart.

Piss on you Dene. Wishing or implying death on others as you have
makes you not a "turd in a punchbowl" but something much lower. Seems
to me that a lot of your critics here were quite right after all.
What a loser. What a friggin loser. You guys were all right. I am
sorry for taking up for this loser.

I played two rounds when I was in Hawaii a couple of weeks ago, one in
Princeville, Kauaii at the Makai course (RTJ Jr design) and another on the
big island in Kona.

I've played Makai previously and I really like the course. It was raining
on and off and we'd get 5 minutes of deluge and 15 minutes of sun. As a
result, the course was mostly empty and I played as a single with no group
behind me. I like that.

On Kona, I played with my son who happened to be vacationing there with his
wife. There was all kinds of trouble right/left with lava rather than trees
lining the fairways. It is disheartening to see your tee shot slice into
the lava and bounce 30 feet high only to disappear forever, though a couple
of times the lava kicked the ball back into play.

For those of you with Google Earth, here are the coordinates for the Makai
course:
22*13'11.92" N
159*29'03.40" W

Bobby is still health. Now for golf. Who do you think had a better swing,
Byron Nelson or Sam Snead. Nelson was so consistent that Iron Byron was
named for him, but Snead's nickname was Slammin' Sammy. What do you think?

My boss ran into Slammin' Sammy many, many years ago while traveling as
a salesman for SB Lathe. Spotting a golf course, he figured he had time
to play a quick round. Sam Snead (who was visiting a pro friend in the
area) was warming up on the first tee. A former city medalist and
one-time scratch player, Dan quickly recognized him, introduced himself,
and asked Sam if he minded pairing up. As they prepared to tee off,
another single appeared and loudly asked, "Are you fellas playing for
money?" "Sure!", said Sam. He promptly walked to the opposite side of
the tee box, turned around to play from the left side, teed a ball,
flipped his driver over, and smashed one down the middle.

The guy shook his head, picked up his bag and headed for the clubhouse,
passing up the hustle. Sam turned to Dan, laughing, and said, "I don't
believe that fella knows who I am!"

Considering Snead was a lefty playing righty, I like his swing over
Nelson's.

Snead was OTT, so it has to be Nelson, however pretty Sammy's
swing was. But where does Hogan fit into this?

It must have slipped the Executive Director's mind. We need to send an
email to Frostback to remind him.

I thought Frostback was the mole this week. It's so hard to

That's no newcomer. That's a longtime nonentity.

That's my point, it's already there, who needs to look it up? Even a

It's actually "Haloperidol" and I've seen it spelled both ways.
However you spell it, it's an antipsychotic drug so I will defer to
your expertise in this area. I didn't happen to have a bottle right in
front of me when I made the post.

If you are going to make a statement that you think makes you sound
intelligent, please be advised that it is spelled Haldol. DUH!

And by your poking fun of me here, which is great because I love the
attn, does that mean you endorse death wishes as this. Has RSG got
this low that wishing or implying death on others is now permissible.
Who next is going to get a death wish? Shit, this place gets scarier

going to play 18. Some of the nutcases here can continue all day here

This is curious. It's ok for you to joke about being in BK's will but
it's not ok for me to joke about a Memorial tournament in his name,
hosted by Eric, one who often remarks about BK's plumbin problems.

Organize your remaining brain cells, then try to comprehend the
following. I said nothing to the attorney about the various insults,
to and fro, that gets tossed about in RSG. That's the nature of an
unmoderated newsgroup. My beef was with a "ceremony" that never

Being called a cumwad or TITPB is irrelevent to me, similar to when you
called Annika a "Pedo" at a golf tournament. I simply exercise an old
concept...."consider the source."

As long as we are posting about things that fly, now that I am living in
Austin, I have become aware of Batfest, a festival celebrating the annual
migration to Austin of Mexican Free Range bats. They start arriving in the
Spring and by August/Sept they reach their peak population of 1.5 million,
all nestled under the Congress ave bridge.

Last Sunday, my wife and I went to the 4 Seasons hotel to have dinner. We
chose this because the outside restaurant has a nice view of the Congress
Ave bridge and we would be able to see the bats swarm at dusk. It was the
last day of Batfest, so there was rock music playing from the bridge. The
band was called Pushmonkey and, if pressed, I'd have to say that they
reminded me of the 1980's group "Whitesnake", though it has been a long time
since I heard any Whitesnake so they might not sound like that at all. But
anyway, it was lovely stuff for watching bats.

We were not disappointed - the bats took off in our direction at dusk and
for the next 15 minutes we saw swarm after swarm. The food was good as
well.

No, we avoided the crowds and stuck to the restaurant where we could see
bats, hear the music, and not get jostled.

Out of a helicopter...they also dropped baseball bats out a chopper as
well in one episoide! Can't get WKRP on DVD because of greedy music
industry scum...put music in your production and they line up at the
feeding trough for royalties, but no problem not paying composers and
performers...

Yep. A few years after the show went off the air, they had a WKRP marathon
and the host said that the Thanksgiving episode was the one most requested.

I also liked the one where Johnny Fever misread the prize money
amount on the air, so he had to rig up the contest so that nobody
could win... only somebody won! Hilarious!

Not really, 7 years since I first posted here. And you are the most
disgusting son of a bitch who ever posted here. No better than the
bastard who raped and murdered JonBenet. F

Funny, I don't show you posting anything before February of 2006. Perhaps
you used a different name?

Going to Princeville and not playing the Prince Course is like going to
Ruth Chris's Steakhouse and ordering the fish.

I've played it twice before and would have again, but the side-trip to Kona
stood in as a replacement. The golf was like ordering the fish, but time
with my son was like having the filet mignon.

Cool, I once went in a bat cave in Aruba too, there was a Spanish girl
taking tickets and said something about "compania del telephono...." ??

I saw Whitesnake at a bar in Vegas a year or so ago. Pretty much a
chick band, except all the chicks are the same from 20 years ago, and
some still have that "hair." Show was pretty unmemorable, the vocals
were heavily processed and buried just enough in case one of
Coverdale's nut-squeezers didn't come out right. I was at the side
bar, and could not see all the band members, so the drum solo comes on
and it was kickin ass. I walk to the center and it's Tommy Aldridge...
effin' A, man.

Was it him or Snead that said putts should only count as a half stroke?

I am not sure, but it seems odd to be discussing half strokes given the

Which subject line? I am using Netscape at the office so you should

Not so sure of all this remastering, I guess it's the trade off of
hearing things you never heard before vs. sounding as good as the
original mix intended for vinyl. I hope to get a good CD version of
Martin's score for the film. The ol' apple is a bit scratchy.
