Mike Weir's home golf club is listed as Taboo Golf Club. This is his Ontario home, not his Utah home. That's an odd name for a golf club - I wonder how it got that name. Searching the web, it looks like a nice place to play.

Taboo is a French Canadian term. It means candy ass.

If Mike Wier plays there once a year, I'd be surprised. It's simply an endorsement deal. The course is attached to the Muskoka Sands resort on Lake Muskoka. My first and last visit there was the year they were opening the course. My cousin has a cottage on the lake, so we went for a visit by boat to see the course. Security shooed us away from the dock, wouldn't let us park there. A bit too exclusive for me! There are plenty of great courses in the area, Taboo is not on my list. If you're in the area, Bigwin Island is a nice premium course. South Muskoka and North Granite Ridge are good moderately priced clubs.
