Story of Golf
THE STORY OF GOLF chronicles the evolution of the game of golf from
its rudimentary (and debatable) origins in Scotland, Holland, France,
China and elsewhere many centuries ago, to the worldwide popularity it
enjoys today with over 50 million players in 100 countries. Narrated
by Jim McKay, the two-hour film includes archival and contemporary
interviews with golf's great historians, commentators and raconteurs;
still and moving footage from archival libraries and home-movie
collections; and television and news reel footage.
