Michelle Wie accepted at Stanford: http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2006/12/19/sports/NA_SPT_GLF_Wie_Stanford.php Hmmm. She's a pro golfer, so she can't play on the golf team. Anybody know what she plans to study?

She's a pro golfer, so she can't play on the golf team. That certainly was a shocker. Well, I got to give to her for not following people's expectations for her. > Anybody know what she plans to study? If I were her, I'd study business. As a athlete/celebrity, there's so many business opportunities out there, especially after your career.

Being accepted to Stanford and completing an education a two different animals. Woods did not hang around very long and I doubt that Wie will either. David

I'm wondering if she's been playing with the men for her contract with Nike, and isn't that interested in a pro golf career. I guess we'll find out.

It ain't about the prize money. Other than Tiger, do you know any athletes that made $10M before they played their first professional game?
