when striking the ball stems from the use of good techniques, why do so many 150 "yarders" abort their swing at impact? A complete follow-thru with gusto is as important as any other mechanic of the swing exercise. >m h o > v =83e >d w n =A0w / t h e =A0$ c a l p e r - u $ e =A0l e $ $ =A0g a $ >g a s o l i n e - $1.499 / gl.,, i s =A0a =A0f a i r =A0p r i c e

Thinking too much instead of visualizing. It's a left/right brain thing. A complete follow-thru with gusto is as important as any other mechanic of the swing exercise. It only comes from a good swing thought which can only come from visualizing the shot. Otto

Way to go Otto. How the hell did you answer a question that makes no sense in the first place? Are you one of the monkeys? Inquiring minds, and all that, you know. Follow through is more important than finish. I am starting to pay much more attention to my follow through. Remembering to maintain CONSTANT grip pressure. I just read yesterday that long hitters have a follow through of about 9-12 inches, Ben Hogan and Sam Snead had about a 6 inch follow through, which is consistent with Top players. I try to plan my follow through by visualizing where I want to be in the 'impace area' just before the ball and just after the ball.
