Wasn't golf invented over in Ireland? Maybe a few days of you guys staying
in an actual stone castle and shooting at some courses near where it was
invented?

You meant Scotland of course. That is a good way to have a Scotsman hit
you with a bag full of haggis.

You might have a tough time finding a course with carts in Scotland.

I don't know what the budget on this is but maybe the Robert Trent
Jones Trail in Alabama could be nice. Or you could take him to
Pinehurst or Hawaii if you wanted to spend big bucks.

It's really cool that you are doing this. I took my father to Bandon
Dunes for his 70th birthday last fall. It was an unforgettable trip.

Actually, it may not be as tough as one might expect. Recently,
I saw more golf carts there than I had expected.

That's interesting. I always had the impression that it was next to
impossible to find a course with carts.

Especially memorable once a month when that VISA bill arrives.

I still have similar memories of Hawaii.

Hehe, you're right about that one. It's all paid off now. It wasn't
cheap, that's for sure, but it is an unbelievable place. It actually
lives up to the hype.
