Subject: RSG-NW'ers - It's Double Nickels Time at Heron Lakes, Portland, OR

To celebrate remaining upright after another year (55 of them) on this
planet, I've reserved some tee-times at Heron Lakes -Great Blue starting at
1:00pm on Saturday. If you're going to be in the vicinity and would like to
join in, just let me know. After the golf there will be bountiful beer and
brats provided.

Stew and Carol are in Portland visiting his aunt this weekend. I shoulda
seen this earlier and told him. In fact, I am sure they are at the
campground just a mile or so away from Heron Lakes.

It was a beautiful day on the golf course, despite Heron Lakes kicking our
butts. It would have been great to have Stew and Carol join us, sorry I
didn't post the outing earlier. Looking forward to seeing the Sunshine
Coast gang at the next RSG-NW event.

I'd love to...but gotta stick around here this weekend. I put too many
miles on the transports this summer for golf trips already. Have a
great birthday, and quaf one for me.

Hmmm... I think the actual relationship is that it now takes 55 advils to

Hey Bob, is Heron Lakes the course out in NW Portland by the Columbia R?
If so, it's where I started playing golf as a kid in the early 60's.
Also washed dishes in the restaurant there while going to US Grant HS :)

Yep, HB BF. I drove right by there, again, last week. Love to join you,
but someone has to keep an eye on the "other border," and it was our turn.

OK, I remember now that we talked about that when you were here. West
Delta just doesn't ring any bells with me but then it preceded my late
'60's doings so I understand why :) And, I am a charter member of LBS,
the elite group affectionately know as the Large Boy Society, although
