Subject: Putter fitting fun

So, I went out and played for 2nd time in a month today and after being
completely and totally clueless on the greens, I'd had enough. I headed to
Golftown with putter in hand (Ping CrazE G2), ready for a change. Of
course, Randy's post about his new toys did nothing to put this idea of a
need for change in my mind...

Anyway, the fitter guy had me hit a few putts and noticed that the putter
lie was screwed - toe was way up. He suggested that this would cause the
face of the putter to be closed, which would result in pulls, which was
exactly what I was fighting on the greens today. So, he gets the Ping
adjustable putter that they use to determine the specs that I'm comfortable
with and finds that it would be 33 inches and 5 degrees flat. I have my
hands kind of low...

5 degrees flat. Any of you guys seen anything like that? I decided that
was a bit extreme and we also noticed that the grip was offline, so I just
got a new grip for now.
