Luke Donald has a horseshoe up his ass. This PGA Tournament is the Las Vegas
Open with the winner ending up about -20. I know Medinah couldn't predict
that the weather would slow the greens but this is ridiculous.

Looks like that's a pretty good guess.

The betting line that I see has the over/under at 69.5, but the under
is plus money, while the over is -132 (132 to win 100).

They have the Woods O/U at 68.5, but the under is -131.

thanks, that is very interesting, but I'm not going to take the time to
compare them day-to-day!

So your hesistance to predict LD's score wasn't
really about not having this data then was it?

wow -- all those pins look to be in some pretty nasty spots. It
doesn't look like there is a single one more than 5 paces from the
edge -- and none in the middle of the greens. And look where that one
on 17 is............ Yikes.

I have the "suck" part down for my shots but it's not the kind of suck

Point to or copy and paste the link into your browser and it will show you
today's pin placements.

It is an Adobe file so my guess is you will need adobe reader.

It all depends on the weather.

I haven't seen the forecast for tomorrow but if the weather is the same as
today and the winds are the same:

67

Tiger--under 67.

If the winds kick up and it starts raining, par will win the whole thing.

I'm predicting Tiger shoots 67 though.

I'm hoping Mike Weir shoots another 65 tomorrow, but I'm not predicting it.

I agree, LD 68 / TW 67 and a one stroke win, but a three way play off
with Weir would not surprise me at all.

I don't see anyone else making a sucessfull run at it. Possible but not
likely.

Weather forecast:

http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=60666&hourly=1&yday=231&weekday=Sunday

Items to notice:

Weather much like today but cooler, sunnier, and drier.

No precip

Light winds North to Ne--stronger for the earlier groups but certainly still
in the "light" category.

Lower humidity(could make the fairways and greens faster-especially for the
latter groups)

More sunshine--more drying effect(could make the fairways and greens
faster-especially for the latter groups).

The groups that go out early will have softer fairways and greens but a bit
more wind.

The groups that go in the Pm will have less wind but drier and faster
fairways and greens.

Is the wind Vs turf moisture a wash?

We'll see.

I think Tiger shoots 67 or better and wins. He hits the ball sooo high that
the lesser winds will play to his strengths.

Uh, yeah, it was. Seeing a pin position on a map isn't the the only
judge of how tough a pin position is. Of course, I also didn't/don't
know what weather is forecasted or how the greens will be cut. None
of this matters though, since what really matters is what the score is
in respect to Tiger (and the other players). That's what I answered.
