Subject: Papa Pflum Makes an Eagle

First time ever. It was on the 17th hole at O'Bannon Creek GC -- his
club. For those of you who have played there before, it's a long
straighaway par five. The tee shot is slightly uphill and right about
120 yards out the fairway pinches down with hazards to the right and
left. (Tex -- this is the hole where last you you hit your "sometimes
I pull the ball when I get tired" shot.)
He sank his third shot from right in between the hazards.

Nope -- it was some yahoo hitting a drive off #8 at Maketwah and into
the parking lot. I was at the range waiting for Thor and Rick
Armstrong to show. Thor gets there first and says, "I almost got hit
by a golf ball! Fortunately, I ducked behind this little blue sports
car and it put a big dent in the top of it."
Sure enough -- it was my car.

I told him something happened to me that had never happened before --
