Subject: POS Titleist Driver

This may be my last Titleist driver. I have the 905T and cracked the
face yesterday or today. It's the 2nd cracked face. I had the 983K
and it broke in the same place, just under the top edge, maybe 1/2"
I had a buddy who also cracked his 983K. Seems like some serious QC
issues.

I also cracked the face on a 983K like 3 or 4 years ago but they sent me
a new one. The retired "new" one is in the garage corner in the dark
where it belongs :)

I was thinking of getting one, after reading this don't know.
Dave, why dont you use the *new one* anymore?

because I have a KZG Gemini that hits the ball 20yds longer...At the
time I first demo'd the 983K, it was the longest driver I'd ever hit,
but it's technology is old. Unless you need to buy something cheap, get
one of the new drivers. The Callaway Fusion or Ping G5 have impressed me
at demo days...

My 983K is as long if not longer than my 460cc KZG Gemini. The former has
not cracked yet and I hit the ball w/driver a reasonable distance.
