Subject: OT - Deleting Read Newsgroup Messages

I've recently updated my computer and software and can no longer figure out
how to have read messages deleted automatically. I'm using Outlook Express
6. In previous versions of Outlook Express I've been able to delete
automatically, but can't find the correct option to accomplish this feat on
the new version. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance,
Tom

I started down that road, then I ran into all the web pages that
Firefox
did a crappy job showing, or wouldn't work with at all.

I use both Thunderbird and Firefox and have for some time. Firefox has a
plugin that fixes the IE only website problem. And, IMO, anyone who
designs a website for IE only is a hack, Microsoft excepted of course :)

This probably won't help, but I'd switch to Thunderbird. While you're
at it, toss out Explorer and install Firefox.

Agreed. T'bird is so much better than OE, for mail and news. ANd
Firefox is miles ahead of IE for webbing. For those site that insist
upon IE (Windows update is about it) I use the Avant Browser overlay
that makes IE Firefox-like
