South of the border that is (and for those of you who can't get their heads around the concept without help, that would be south if the Canada/US border). I realize it's early going, but where CNN is calling races, its mostly Republican incumbents who are going down. Alan, Believe it or not, the majority of Americans I know are embarrassed and disgusted by the goons who run this store. Above all, W has divided us against one another, like no other prez in my lifetime. Frankly, it seems we're helpless to see past our futile, two party system, so we'll continue to vote for the same parties that have screwed us repeatedly. But, give us credit. At least we saw fit to slap a leash on the loose cannon for his remaining two years... uh, unless he gets impeached. BTW, I don't like Democrats either, but I like that we went from worse to bad. ;-{ PS Be nice, lest we'll build a fence on the northern border too.

Hey, I believe you. I applaud the American public for essentially repudiating what the current administration and legislature have been doing.I was just getting tired of reading one particular American's partisan rants here and decided to tweak his nose a little. <g > Frankly, from my perspective there hardly seems any difference between the Reps and the Dems, anyway. From all the gnashing of teeth and wailing one hears, you'd think that the Republicans were Nazis (according to the Democrats) and the Democrats commies (according to the Republicans), when the truth of the matter is that when it actually gets down to cases they make almost the exact same decisions once they're actually in power. Nor, BTW, does it seem like there's all that much difference between the Liberals and Conservatives here in Canada, either; the NDP are another matter, but less and less people take them at all seriously. On more important matters, I went out and hit a few this afternoon, and apparently, I haven't forgotten everything yet. My chipping was actually really good. And I'm not going to worry too much about the fence. ;-) -- 'It is Mac OS X, not BSD.' -- 'From Mac OS to BSD Unix.'
