How'd you get Saturday tee times??

Let me know if you don't get 4; I'll talk to the warden about a
pass...

Sounds like the warden is in position to drive a hard barain....... :-)

A "gimme" can best be defined as an agreement between
two golfers neither of whom can putt very well.

Head shot, sparky is speaking with non forked tongue. They let me play and
I am much worse than you describe. But I do walk 18 in less than 3 hours.
So fast bad play is much preferable to bad, slow, deliberate play.

Tony, I have no hints on how to bribe the warden. If you find a good one,
let me know and I will use on mine.

Actually he prefers that you suck. How do you think you get to play for
free?

Duluth is here:

Bring a jacket!

Oh - is this a round of golf where you gamble on each hole? I really don't
gamble. I prefer to just suck for free and have some fun driving the cart
around and having some good shots and some bad shots.

Does it matter if I suck? I am new to this and have only done maybe 15
rounds so far (this is my first year playing). I take lots of mulligans
and half of the time I shoot from the red tees if I can't get a rythm going
on the driving range. And where is Duluth?

We don't have to bet money or anything, do we? And do you mind that I take
lots of mulligans - it's faster than me looking in the woods to find where
my ball went. You teach lessons for a living? Maybe I could sneak out of
work early one day this week and take a lesson - I am only like 5 exits
from there apparently. I work an exit away from the corner of 285 and 85.
I think it's exit 94.

We hardly ever bet except for the occaisional Beer Match (tm). As for
being bad, we have a motto "You can play bad just don't play slow!" :-)
So no, we don't care if you're bad...

This sounds like fun! Yes, I can play fast. When something goes into the
woods I just call a mulligan rather than go searching for it with a machete.
I always show up at the course fully expecting to lose a dozen balls.

I'm like 90 minutes from there; give or take. I don't think I am ready to
play with people that don't approve of some mulligans - I really do suck so
far. I am thinking I should take some more lessons now that I finished a
few months of actually playing each week.

As Sparky said, playing ability doesn't matter.
But when you play with us it helps if you don't have too thin a skin
and don't mind getting your picture taken. Click, click....
