Subject: Medinah Rating/Slope


The gang at TNT this morning (11:00 AM Left Coast) stated that at 7,500
yds., the course rates 78.1 and slopes 151. And that's before they
grew the rough to 6" for the tourney.

Tomorrow morning, Wife and I will tee it up on our 6,100 yard goat
track that rates 67.9 and slopes a whopping 111. I think the greens
roll to about a "three". A low three.

And it goes without saying that I would MUCH rather be shooting a 94 at
Medinah with my Wife tomorrow rather than rolling around Suntides...

Nah, much too crowded. Very hard to get a tee time this weekend.

Yes. Ugly avacado with patches of brown loop pile shag carpet...

An 80 on your home course (which is a 12.1 differential), converts to a
94 or 95 at Medinah!!

Don't use the "th" in relation to putting, Doug!

Three? Isn't that what 2" shag carpet rolls at?
