Why:
He would play because he loves the game and loves winning.
What other logic do you need?
Heck, if Funk can play in the Pga when he is 50, why not Tiger?
In addition, you have an entire tour oozing with money that is dedicated to
guys that are more than 30 years into their professional careers.

The most amazing thing Tiger's has done so far was winning the u.s. amateur
title 3 years in a row--and he won the jr. amateur 3 straight years before
that! No other player has won the jr. twice--in fact only 5 kids have ever
even reached the finals twice.

Tiger has said that his Jr. Amateur string is the record least likely
to be broken.

very shortly in our history, Tiger's going to have many records that

I wouldn't be so sure. It wasn't all that long ago that Jack's 18 seemed
unreachable...now it seems likely....perhaps.
Woods lost the plot for a couple of years, and now has come charging back,
but who's to say he doesn't do it again, or some other star comes along and
puts him in the shade?
'Ever' is a long time. Few alive in Nicklaus' heyday would have thought
they'd live to see anyone get even close to Jack's mark, yet it's just taken
a generation, not a century, for this to happen. Let's also not discount
further improvements in technology.
Somewhere, on some faraway course or perhaps sitting in front of a TV, is
some little kid with the potential to eclipse Woods' accomplishments.
Let's hope we live long enough to see that!

Jack won 17 majors in 19 years, which makes it a little more
comparable.
I quit arguing Tiger vs Jack, since Tiger's going to break his record

Doubting his "god-like" status is not "hate"...questioning whether or
not he's going to play pro golf in his 60's is not hate....wondering if
he'll get 30 or 40 majors is not hate.

They said that about Jack...never say never. Just when you think some
record is "forever", someone will break it. Tiger is not "god", there
will be another that will come along.
