And they go on and on and on. I'm sure there are some political newsgroups
to go to. Oh, that's right. You have a right to post anything you want.

Look at the newsgroup as a pub frequented by golfers and golf fans. If
it were a real pub, the conversation wouldn't always be about golf. If
you don't like OT posts, just ignore them. Most will have OT in the
header, or the title will obviously be OT. On occasion, an on topic
thread will meander off topic, but you can just drop it at that point.

Isn't the cable great where you can get anything from bluegrass to rap to
classical ... I'm pissed though. They removed "The 60s" and replaced it with
"Golden Oldies" 90s, 80s, 70s, Golden Oldies.

I don't listen to cable music any more. I've had an iPod for the last
few months. 400 hours of exactly the music I want to listen to for every
occasion.

It's weird how the Golden Oldies used to be my parents' music, then
mine, and now is my kids' music. Why did they change?

Someone should mention to 3putt that reading the posts in RSG are purely
voluntary.
Even someone as weak gened as a golfer should be able to resist OT
political posts with little or no trouble.

Thorpe is like a ball with a clump of mud on it. Most of the time it's
predictable but every once in a while it takes a dive straght out of bounds.
