If God has a sense of humor..... Mr. Knight, Mr Strulowitz you're on the tee...... (I would not be as presumptuous to judge the direction this golf course might be - North or South...) What other pairings would be good??

> Eric, > > I'm compelled, in all fairness, to ask you this question. If BK showed > up at the Crony/Cuwad tournament, you wouldn't play with him? > > -Greg Dene, That is a great question. And coming from you, who I consider to be a truly great friend, mind, and intellect, it is worthy of a candid respone. If I lived in DFW, I would not bother with Bobby. Because in a purely social setting, he has no appeal. For someone who they says he has accomplished so much in this life and has so much material assets, he don't seem too dang happy to me. I don't know a whole lot of millionaires in their 70's who routinely hang around a golf newsgroup cussing trolls, spammers, and people who they don't like, like me! And I don't know a lot of millionaires who have this incessant need to gossip on a crony list. To talk about others and hunger for the latest "dope" on others, and these "others" being folks of no real consequence or importance in his REAL life, if he even has one. But if Bobby was to spend the time and money to come to the Crony/Cumwad tourney, he would be warmly received by me and all those in attendance. And if anyone had a problem with Bobby being there, I would tell them to kiss my Jewish Joizy ass and stay home. Because if he took the time and interest to come, that puts him high on my list, and my personal feelings become subordinated. Unlike that pathetic excuse of a host at the event your way Greg, where the organizer pandered to the crying of a bunch of fucking wimpering shitstains. He has brought this group to a low we have never seen. And even lower is the fact of no remourse after the harm has been done.. Crap on him, the pathetic waste of sperm he is. Because golf if a gentlemen's game. And on the course, we should behave like gentlemen. What happens before we step to the first tee becomes forgotten and not to be brought up. We enjoy the course, the scenery, the competition, and shake hands as gentlemen after the game. And then when we go home, and if we still hate each others guts, so be it. But for those few hours we were out there enjoying our great game, we were able to rise above the petty bullshit. I very much doubt BK will show. Because being a social animal first, he must pander to his peer group. He will come if his peer group shows. What a sad way to be. I attend an event if it appeals to me, not because of who is or is not there. I attend an event knowing that probably 90% will hate my guts and wish I rotted in hell. That is fine, I accept that. If 10% accept me and treat me in a respectful manner, to me that was a tremendous success. What a relief knowing you don't have to pander yourself to an insignicant group of cronies, who are scattered all over the coutntry, of no importance in real, everday terms, and never can or will be The Hammer

You hang around here and cuss people you do not like. You also seem to have a good deal of anger towards anyone who has friends since "crony" means close, personal, friend, esp one of long acquaintance. I guess that means since you do not have cronies, that you do not have friends or at least none of long acquaintance. > But if Bobby was to spend the time and money to come to the > Crony/Cumwad tourney, he would be warmly received by me and all those > in attendance. Yeah, and if he dropped out you'd be too much of a jerk to handle the resignation via personal email, but would take it to RSG and blast his character. > I very much doubt BK will show. I cannot speak for Bobby, but I would bet $5k (to pull a figure out of the air) that if all of "his peers" showed up at your tournament, he still would not come. Just a guess on my part. >What a sad way to be. I attend an event if it appeals to me, > not because of who is or is not there. What the hell is appealing about an RSG event if not the people??? I live at a nice golf course. I also belong to a nice club close by. WTF do I have to travel from here to there to play your golf course(s) in an RSG event? Well, maybe it's the nice people that attend the RSG events that I enjoy meeting and/or reacquainting with. I thoroughly enjoyed RSG-NW last year for instance, even given the TITPB antics prior to the event. I had a ball playing alternate shot with Rude Dog, had fun being chauffered by skinny Pflum, who was expertly navigated by Thor. A round with Kelly Newell is something that cannot be explained, it can only be experienced. Mark K (Tex) constantly on the computer making sure I didn't win the flipping tournament when I know I did (he determined that I came in 4th and that's bullshit!). Losing a beer match and happily buying because it was FUN trying to not lose. I've been in weather before but the lightning storm at this RSG event was somethin' else. That night it only rained for a couple of hours but the golf course the next day was a river...so, were we washed out? Nah, Scott N negotiated a revised course on the high side so we could play golf that day. Well done Scott! Only problem was we were an hour late getting started and I guess the river down 9 and 18 were going to subside by noon because we were advised half way through our round that we "may not finish because there's a shotgun start tournament at noon" WTF? So, we played fast and I got chastised by Peter Strauss about a drop that I had to take. It normally would have required a double drop to determine where the ball was in play, but I shortcutted the procedure and got my ball in play where it would have been anyway. Well, did I hear about that! Those damned rules guys are everywhere!! Anyway, you can say anything you want about the politics of RSG events...the truth is, they are a blast with a bunch of people who like to play golf and don't worry about much else. Those that worry about other stuff don't show up. Me, I'm already looking forward to next year even though it's a long trip from San Luis Obispo, to Los Angeles, to Seattle, to Pasco, WA via some small and large airplanes. Thanks Scott for taking the time to put this event together! I'm even thinking about spoiling RSG-WI with my presence next year. Can't let Rancho Bob get to far ahead of me RSG miles :) -- Dave You are meant to play the ball as it lies, a fact that may help to touch on your own objective approach to life. ~Grantland Rice

I would have a problem with playing with a person (aka terrorist) that suddenly decided to really make a statement. Now, I am a people person..but I got my limits. I am getting old..I don't heal as quickly as I use to. Now, the chances of someone making the big time with Allah, at a golf course with an RSG event ongoing, is pretty damn slim..thankfully. Never the less, I have a hard enough time putting right now the way it is..I don't need someone exploding themselves for their religion and future world as they think it will be upon their demise. My hearing is damn near gone the way it is..I don't need what little is left to go with the blast..I know, I know..that may sound picky..but.. The rules I work under right now require me to carry full time, I'd hate to be brought up on charges for NOT carrying on the damn golf course..geezz..what, now I have to bust a cap on someone while attempting to putt too? I am NOT going to practice that on the range..er, firing range that is. (this is suppose to be comical, read it that way) Think about the line; watch who? which one? Do you always have an activator sticking out of your shirt like that? Shit..I just shot someone who forgot to take off an electronic anti theft price tag..damn. That's gonna raise my handicap for damn sure..Which way will the putt break after the cratering? Can you remove body parts from the line? How the hell do you repair THAT mark? I need a bigger ball mark tool. SHIT! Oh great..now we got a new fucking acronym to deal with..IEG..Improvised Exploding Golfer. That's it..I am patting down everyone before we tee off..there are limits you know! Wait..can we slot the terrorists for the last foursome off? Pardon the jocular intervention to the normal RSG social dysfunction. Ya'll need to stop the antics..k?

RSG NW, your baby. If it was me, it would be a thing of the past. The behavior of some, not just Greg, has tainted it forever. I am not saying Greg is 100% perfect, in fact who the hell is. But for folks to threaten to bail out because of one person, is the epitome of chicken shit and crybabyism. And the way people who never even met Greg ganged up on him, was a low point for this group. It showed the worst side of the cronyism here. I have played in many a tourney at work or at my club and there are always some that I think very little of and I am sure there are many that think the same of me. Who cares?. In life, we are not expected to love everyone are we? It is about golf for me. And you gravitate to those folks who you do gel with, and screw the rest and just be civil. Being civil not only because this is a gentlemen's game, but also in respect to the organizer and the venue. . What is so hard about that? The Hammer

Those people came to independent decisions - that is not cronyism, that is just the result of Greg bing a jerk.
