If such exists, it would meet the linux criterion.

I know one of my former colleagues used one of them from there, but can't recall the name of it at the moment. Most are GPL'd too, if not all. And even if it doesn't list Linux as one of the platforms, as long as your Linux flavour's POSIX compliant, it'll run on your Linux.
