Subject: Had A Fall Lesson This Weekend

Going to Bermuda this coming week... and for the past few weeks I've been
duck hooking my mistake drives. Something felt enough out of wack, so I
called for a lesson. Bermuda would have been ugly with a lot of duck hook
pulls.

Went to see the lady pro at the Rutgers University Course in NJ this past
weekend. First thing she noticed... while my feet were pointed correctly,
my shoulders were aimed left. She said unless I corrected everything
perfectly... the tendency will be either to pull the ball left, or slice
the ball right.

The other thing she said was that I was letting too much right hand control
the club. I was letting my right index finger creep downward, away from my
middle finger.

She had me correct my shoulder alignment, and had me practice hitting balls
with my right hand index finger on top of the grip, instead of under the
grip. To get the index finger away from trying to control.

Practiced a few times at the range this week, and went to the muni course
today after work and hit a bunch of short irons for practice.

So far so good.

Now... if I can just keep it going in Bermuda.
