It was a pink cap with a navy (black?) B on it. It sort of looked like
this one:

But I kind of doubt she's a Red Sox fan. Was it some other sponsor's
hat?

It's Red Sox, she went to a game around the US Women's Open and has
been wearing the hat(s) since then.

If she really was wearing the Red Sox, I'm surprised because I thought
the top players would all have big endorsements from sponsors to wear
