The movie is pretty mediocre IMHO. Read the book ... most excellent.
Also just finished 'Grand Slam' by the same author ... not quite as
compelling as TGGEP, but still very good.

I thought the movie was close to the book, as close as you could do in
a movie.
If it was truly accurate, like Gettysburg was, it would be six hours
long, and no
one would go to see it. But then, I guess no one did anyway.
