Is there a lifetime for graphite shafts? I have 14 year old Ping Zing2's with Graphite shafts (love 'em by the way), well cared for, used regularly every year. Should I expect any degradation of the shafts?

Graphite will degrade but it will not be noticable. Take care of it and it should give you a couple of years before you can retire it. If you enjoy using it and have no problems with it, don't change it ----------------------- Visit us online http://www.golfer-review.com jf-golf wrote: > Is there a lifetime for graphite shafts? What do you mean a couple of years? Keeping graphite shafts in the wrong golf bag will wear the shafts near the ferrules faster than degrading graphite.
