A couple of months ago I posted asking for recommendations for an upcoming trip to Albuquerque to play golf. I got back tonight and have to report a great weekend playing. On Friday, I played Isleta Eagle, on the south side of Albuquerque. It was a beautiful 27 hole course, and, while the carts don't have GPS, they do have a great booklet in the cart that gives yardages to key points on each hole and lay up yardages on a few of the hole. On Saturday, I played Santa Ana in Bernalillo. It's also 27 holes on a compact lot not far from it's more expensive and spread out brother, Twin Warriors. GPS carts, nice practice areas and a well maintained facility. Both days the wind was a definite factor, just like it was when I played Sandia last March. All in all, a great weekend away playing golf with my brother. Even with lots of flight delays, Delta even got my clubs on the same plane with me. Rick Forest Louisville, KY --
