Subject: Getting older

Today on the course:

Birdies: 0
Pars: 7
Bogies: 4
Doubles: 2
Triples: 5 (one was a 'ESC' triple; in reality a +5)!

About twenty years ago, I'd be miserable, pissed off, and ready to quit. At
the very least, I'd be able to say that I wasted a lot of time not enjoying
myself at all and all I got out of it was a higher index.

But it ain't twenty years ago. The air was crisp, it was greener than it's
been in a long time, and I didn't see a single ugly thing for a solid 4
hours (outside of my iron shots). It was beautiful out there on the course
today, and I had a splendid time. Here's to twenty years giving you a bit
of perspective. I'd still rather by that 18 year old who only knew he had
hip and shoulder joints because they told him so in books, but being 18
surely isn't all good...

Scott 'if you ignore those 5 holes, I played great!' McFarlane
