The suspense is over. Tiger Woods was named the PGA Tour's Player of
the Year for 2006.
The award is decided by the votes of the players. The PGA of America
POY is decided by a points system, and Tiger locked that up several
months ago.
Trevor Immelman was named Rookie OTY, and Steve Stricker was named
Comeback POY.
This is the eighth (16th, counting both versions) POY award for Woods
in ten full years on the tour. The most any other player has won in a
career is six.

Each player should have voted for himself; and then the PGA would have made
the whole group "player of the year".

That's quite an honor.
To be singled out as the biggest asswipe in a raging sea of asswipes is

Some things never change.
Come on muti. Talk to me about majors or wins or scoring averages.
Anything but a beauty contest like player of the year elections.
Tiger's member/guest this week means more to me.
