Subject: Best 16 year old ever?

In the space of one week, Gipper Finau has earned a place on the contender
list. At last weekend's Nationwide Tour event, the Utah Energy Solutions
Championship, Gipper made it through Monday qualifying with a 63, the
lowest in the field. He then made the cut in the tournament, and although
he finished fourth from last, his statistics were mind-boggling. Remember,
he just turned 16 last month.

Stats Total Rank
Bogies 15 1
Birdies 24 1
Db Bog. 1 T8
Other 2 1
Drive 339.6 1
Putts 27.5 5
P/GIR 1.652 5

The kid had an unbelievable week. After his 63 in the qualifier, he shot
rounds of 73-67-76-72 to finish at even par. The par 3s killed him. He
was 10 over on them.

He started playing when he was 5 after watching Tiger Woods on television,
and had the usual success you would expect in a prodigy (beating some
of the local adults by the age of 7 and winning 10-under championships at
the same age, winning the state High School Championship as a 15 year old
sophomore, etc.).

So how come we've never heard of him?
