I suspect that if next week's opponent wasn't the Bengals that Ben might have gotten an extra week (2 with the bye).

But how bad must they think Batch is to have started, and kept Roethlisberger in the game? And ultimately, would they have lost 12-0? What the hell difference would it make? Anyway, he looked dreadful. Deathly ill earlier in the day, fresh off of an appendectomy, not sure I understand the call; Starting him? A correctable mistake.
