Another missed cut for Wie. She'll get another chance
to show off her golfing prowess at next week's 84 Lumber
Classic.

Hey! I shot this last weekend. How come I'm not invited to the
Woodpile Classic?

Because she's a lot prettier than you are.

This is getting ridiculous. If she's 7-8 strokes overpar on Euro PGA
courses that tells me she's like a 10 handicapper if she played on an
ordinary men's course!!!! And she's one of the top female golfers in
the world.???

To be fair, she did try the (open) 80th US Amateur Public Links in
2005. Did quite well, getting to the last 8, before losing 5&4 to a
college player. (Well, perhaps that's not technically correct, as Clay
Ogden wasn't at the time part of the college team or a travelling
reserve - so he was more of a "golfer at college" than a "college
golfer" in that respect - but he was pretty close to college team
standard.)

She qualified in T49 place for the matchplay stages. Again, that has to
be diluted by the fact that the field didn't quite represent the very
best of US amateurs (it's not as strong as the fields that Tiger
routinely dominated in his teens, for example), but she gave a fairly
good account of herself against some pretty good amateur players.

In the European Masters this week, going by the published stats, her
problems seemed to lie in the familiar 3 areas when trying to contend
in men's pro tournaments: far too short off the tee; very poor at
chipping/scrambling/bunker play; and unconvincing on the greens.

So when she was missing cuts by 1-2 strokes like at John Deere or the
Sony Open last year what were you estimating her handicap to be? Be
honest.
