Yesterday at this time 74 degrees, bright sunshine. Absolutely great.

Then the storms came...

Today - 37 degrees, overcast! ;-(

-37? Got to be a world record drop from 74.

Some courses around here (southeastern NH) opened last week. I played
Friday and it was in the 50's, sweater weather.

Right now, I'm looking out the window at almost a foot of heavy wet snow
and tree branches down all over the yard. Last weekend, I was
considering pulling the lawn tractor out of storage and putting the
snowblower in its place. Thank God, I've been through enough New
England springs to know better.

I feel your pain Lloyd. Courses started opening up here last week. Yesterday
we get 4-10" of snow with single digit windchills. At least the Masters is
on this weekend.

True, and in HiDef too!

We've had a pretty good winter, only parts of Jan and Feb were
unplayable by most. Of course, a few real diehards were out in the mid
20's, but I wasn't one of them! I'll play down to the mid 40's with
wind, and upper 30's with no wind and good sunshine.

But the spring has been really good overall. Main problem has been
plenty of rain making the course pretty soggy. Got so bad one day that
they closed the course to all powered carts, walk it or don't play.

Same thing here.

Good news is though I've won the Masters, US Open, British Open, Ryder
Cup, Presidents Cup, The Memorial, Colonial, and Pebble Beach on the
putting green in my office. :-)

Congrats, tough putts! ;-)

I went to the range yesterday afternoon to work on the irons a bit, and
to loosen up for the Tuesday night scramble. About a half dozen of us
were there to see what the weather would do.

Unfortunately, it chose to get really dark with hail and rain, so the
scramble got called off.

I'll bet the field is not too deep, though :-)
