You have to be at least 40 to be considered. Considering Tiger has the 10
years on PGA Tour and blows away the wins requirement and majors, why not
just waive the age minimum and induct him now? The NHL waived the 3 years
for Gretzky and Lemiuex. Surely, Tiger is as great as they are in his sport.

I'm Tiger is seething at not being on the list with Hubert Green and
Larry Nelson.

Meaning, I'm sure Tiger is seething at not being on the list with Hubert
Green and Larry Nelson.

Breach of the rules, you are disqualified.

IMO it makes more sense to go the other way --- you are not eligible
until you have been inactive for three straight years or so.
"Inactive" in this context would mean not playing the minimum number
of PGA events to keep a card, which I think is 15. It makes sense for
guys like Tom Watson, who still plays PGA events occasionally, to be
in the HOF. It doesn't make sense for Vijay, who still plays over 20
events a year, to be in it.

Why? HOF should not be based on retirement, but accomplishments. Stupid
rules. I say go with the Me-Generation approach, I want it and I want it
NOW.

No real value in doing so. Tiger is already giving the Tour as much
publicity as it would get by putting him into the hall.
