I hung around the office till a little after 2PM yesterday for a
student appointment. The student didn't show, so I figured 9 holes or
so of golf were in order. The car needed some gas, and I went to the
oocal filling station, got out of the car; the door almost blew off the
car! A tad windy! It was mid 50s or so F, but with the wind, I passed
on the golf and went home and played on the guitar.

Today it's like 23=B0F out there and not that much less windy. Shoulda
played yesterday! Hopefully it'll warm up this afternoon. I'm getting
to the age where I need to remember that any opportunity to golf may be
my last one!

Prof, the next time you get the urge to report on the weather and
gassing up your car, drink Drano instead.

But that's also the age where it's easy to get too tired and achy to
play tomorrow. So skipping today was probably good - allowing you to
play tomorrow.

It's cooled off since this morning! Tonight is going to be seriously
cold for these parts!

I know what you mean. On Fridays I usually hit a bucket on the way
home from work but today it is a frigid 67=B0F and a bit breezy so I
think I'll pass. Hopefully tomorrow will be warm enough to play.

I know what you mean. On Fridays I usually hit a bucket on the way
home from work but today it is a frigid 67°F and a bit breezy so I
think I'll pass. Hopefully tomorrow will be warm enough to play.

SHUT UP!

Tomorrow morning, as well as Sunday morning, I will be standing on the first
tee at the local 9 holer as soon as it is light enough to hit, Just hoping
it is somewhere north of 40 as last week that was not the case. Still
played both days though.

I am moving to Miami Jan 2 - serious - I imagine I will be able to get
some golf in although I imagine it will be costly through the winter
What are decent courses that are reasonable in the Miami / Ft.
Lauderdale area? Where is the best driving range close to business
district Miami or North Miami Beach area? I'll be staying close to the
Sunny Isles area... What say Tom or others? I'm trying to zone in on
the net however local knowledge is way better.
