From: Speeders & Drunk Drivers are MURDERERS
Subject: Why can the Masters be broadcast with so few commercials??
Seems like at the masters there are 4 minutes of C's per hour and 15
minutes at every other tournament. Thank god for ffwd on VCRs or i'd
seldom watch golf.

And CBS is comfortable if they have to take a loss because they want
the exposure that the Masters gives them.

Because the ANGC is so rich that they don't need to have the networks
pay them for the rights to broadcast the event. I'm not even sure that
the whole thing isn't done in reverse now, anyway.
