Subject: What's With Foot-Joy?
I have four (4) pairs of golf shoes I rotate through when I play. Last week
the sole of the pair I was wearing separated from the heal to about the
middle of the shoe. Ironically today another pair bit the dust. On this
particular pair of shoes the sole separated from the toe all the way back to
the heal. Granted these are not high end Foot-Joys but I'm having fun
telling my wife I need yet another pair of shoes in a little under two
weeks.

The Chinese factory that puts these things together needs to use a stronger
glue. I think "Sign Boy" must have a conspiracy going here.

Reminds me of that old Kenny Rogers song:

You picked a fine time to leave me Loose Heal
With four holes to play and a wife that won't deal...

FootJoy are poorly made shoes in my opinion. On the pair that I have, they
started leaking significantly after one year. I got them replaced, then the
replacement pair started separating from the sole, started to leak again.
Then the sockets that hold the spikes came out after I twisted a few spikes
out. I have 2 spikes on my left shoe and 4 on my right shoe. I said fuck
it, and went back to my Etonics that i've had for 6 years.

You mean besides the sissy name?

Golf shoes? They make shoes specifically for golf?
Who knew?

Instead of bleating, why not go back to the shop and return them?

Dead pulls will do that. ; >

I went cheap for many years....mainly Etonic and Nike. Finally bought
a pair of FJ's and never looked back. Own four pairs now. They are
the only golf shoes I've worn that don't hurt my feet after walking 18
holes.

Sometimes....a name brand is worth every penny.

I've got a pair of Foot Joys; one of the spike sockets was pulled out of
the bottom of the shoe (must have happened during an especially vicious
twist after a great shot :).

Our local pro sent them back in hopes they could replace the socket;
they couldn't, so they replaced the entire pair of shoes. The old pair
was over a year old. For the cost of shipping them back I got a brand
new pair of shoes.

Foot Joy has earned my business.
