Most of the big names are gone after two days and tiger is gone after 3. The final event matches two foreigners; that Swenson nobody and the boring Ogelthorpe dood. What are the idiots at accenture trying to prove? There are lots of ways to spice up an event without going to this stupid match play format that always leads to nobodies "battling" it out. PS - match play works fine in the RC since even if you lose you are not eliminated.

You and the fat guy from the 19th hole on TGC should get a room, maybe a tent. Golf is not all about Tiger.

Henrik Stenson ... number 8 in the world before last week, now in the top 5. Geoff Ogilvy ... number 11 last week, now in the top 10. Geez ... sour grapes just 'cause Tiger didn't win 8^). Sounds like a couple of the better players came out on top to me. Match play has it's faults, but I like the change of pace ... and the fact that it's the top 64 players in the world. But FWIW, Bobby Jones never liked 18 hole matches ... thought they were too short to really show the best player. Rob

There is no other way to do it, unless you want to limit the field to the top 8 in the world. Who has the stamina to play 216 holes of golf in five days? >Rob David

Screw you. If Tigger isn't good enough to make it to the final, that's HIS fucking problem.

The reason it works in the RC is because all the players are the top names. In this tourney, you're always gonna get Jeff Maggert vs. Andrew Magee.
