Subject: Vijay's driver swing today & stats
He looked like a ten 'capper from the tees today. It almost looked
like a reverse pivot...as close as the world's number seven golfer
comes. Anwyay, I have never seen him swing out of his shoes like that
before - but with 10/14 fairways hit, maybe he should use that spin
out, flying back foot move more often.

Speaking of which, - of the top 20 in driving accuracy today, not one
is in the top ten on the leaderboard. Of the top 40, there are only
four in the top ten - same w/ distance - four top tenners in the top
40 in distance.

Conversely, nine of the 14 top ten (w/ ties) are in the top 20 in
putting, w/ Justin Rose leading with a head scratching 1.11 PPG - 20
putts! Eight are in the top 48 in GIR - 9/18.

So to sum up:

Distance - not important. Accuracy, not important. Putting?
Critical. GIR - Important, unless your name is Justin Rose - 5/18
GIR. Unreal. So the question is, what has changed at ANGC?

Noticed the exact same thing. And was also quite surprised.
