looks sweet. no? But what is it that looks so coordinated? His hands seem to be rising after he makes contact, ie not driving past the ball and he seems to be adding speed to the natural path and not hitting against it. That's the best description I can come up with...

I've seen it inthat position in pictures before. However, that particular picture is an anomaly - he fanned it _way_ right. IIRC, that series is a conglomoration of a couple of swings. 'Cause in practice rounds he only takes fucking four tee shots, picks one of them and plays four approaches, drops from about 100 and plays four more, chips around the green if he misses, plays all putts. The guy is ridicuous - takes seven to eight hours for him to play a practice round.
